Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler has a similar fashion to The Cinema Snob, but she tends to morbidly enjoying dumb action flicks. She began her reviews in late 2009; following her rise to fame (under the name of Obscurus Lupa, which was previously used) Allison Pregler subsequently became part of Channel Awesome's family. At the beginning of 2015 she was on the channel as Obscurus Lupa Presents evolved to Movie Nights. Two of her podcasts are co-hosted as well as a show that covers Charmed. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. Brad Jones' Jesus Bro! was her very first film. She's appeared in Brad Jones's series Midnight Screenings, usually reviewing horrible children's movies or RiffTrax Live Shows as well in occasional adult comedies (such such as Baywatch 2017, 2017). After reviewing films in 2009 the actress gained popularity in the forums of Channel Awesome. After joining the official family consisting of Channel Awesome reviewers, she gained a lot of attention. She's appeared on numerous Channel Awesome shows from Atop the Fourth Wall to Phelous & the Movies. She was featured on numerous episodes of Nostalgia Critic and was a one of the original members of the family that Channel Awesome had with Doug Walker.

Barone appeared in the fourth-season Seinfeld Episode The Shoes as Gail Cunningham a chef who wanted Elaine Benes shoes. Barone was part of the cast in the show Carol & Company in early 1990s alongside actor Carol Burnett. Barone performed the role of Carol Willick Ross Geller's ex-wife during the first Friends appearance. Jane Sibbett was her replacement when Barone quit Friends to pursue a role which required longer time. Barone was a part of The Jeff Foxworthy Show from 1995 to 1996 and The War at Home 2005-2007.
