Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd's fight sport experience began when she was 14 years old. Along with BJJ as well, she was also trained in wrestling, boxing and kickboxing. At age 18, she made her first appearance as an amateur in WCFC. Ladd gained momentum from this victory and went on a 3-fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents inside the first round in each fight. In WCFC Ladd was able to defeat Leslie Rodriguez with a unanimous vote. Aspen defeated Silvia B beghian as well as Maddy Simmons prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia had a superior record to Aspen in the fight, beating her by unanimous vote. Cynthia's amateur records were damaged. Ladd bounced back from her defeat to beat Roma Pawelek, taking her record to eight-one. Aspen was a pro-fighter for the first time in the year 2015, when she signed with Invicta FC. She faced Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11 and dominated her to secure a first-round TKO. Invicta Fighter Championships 16. Aspen won the following match with Amanda Cooper through a second-round submission by armbar. Aspen used superior wrestling to defeat McGill in third round TKO. The next fight was against Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18, which was catchweight(138.1lb) as Ladd missed weight despite this Aspen defeated Hoy and finished her off in the second round with a TKO. At Invicta FC21, she was the last fight with the company. The winner was Sijara Ebanks by unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut in UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She was a step ahead of Lina as she ground-and-pound pounded her for a TKO victory in the second round. She repeated her dominance and racked up an amazing victory in her subsequent match against Tonya Evinger in UFC 229. Ladd beat Evinger with a punch during the opening round, and was awarded the performance of the night bonus. Invicta FC's Sijara Ebanks was her opponent for the rematch that took place at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. This was her first major match. Both fighters fought a close fight that Ladd beat by a unanimous decision. The two fighters each received an award called the Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd in 16-seconds to break her losing streak. Yana Knitskaya, in the UFC 7 ESPN 7's 3rd round, was defeated by Randamie. As a last-minute replacement to her UFC match, she faced Norma Dumont during UFC Fight Night 195. The fight was unanimously decided in her favor.
