Her most well-known roles include as Marina Cooper on the soap show Guiding Light and Marcy Bender in the soap opera Dawson's Creek. She was in two episodes of Showtime's Weeds together with Mary Louise Parker. She is best known for her performance as Judy Kramer from the 2005 Fox television series Point Pleasant and Marcy Brender from Dawson's Creek. Three years playing Marina Cooper, in Guiding Light's soap opera, earned nominations for Soap Opera Digest Awards 2003 in the Outstanding Newcomer category. Between 2007 and 2008 Dollar played Cindy Thomas on the ABC television series Women's Murder Club. Dollar was a guest on an episode of the NBC Happy Valley pilot which was not selected for the series.
